Baked Sea Bream Recipe: Simple and Delicious

Sea bream (çipura) is a versatile fish with a light, slightly oily texture, making it perfect for both grilling and baking. If you’re looking for a simple yet flavorful way to prepare sea bream, this baked version is the perfect option. With its delicate white meat and rich flavor, sea bream is a favorite for those who want a hassle-free cooking experience without sacrificing taste.

To ensure even cooking, make a small cut on each side of the fish, especially if they are larger. For extra flavor, lightly salt the fish 10 minutes before cooking and stuff them with lemon slices. This will enhance the aroma and bring out the best in the fish.

For a beautiful and flavorful side, add carrot slices to the baking tray, which will not only brighten your serving platter but also add a delicious contrast to the fish. Cooking time will vary depending on the size of the fish and your oven type. In a small oven, about 25-30 minutes should be sufficient. Be careful not to overcook the fish—leaving it slightly moist will enhance its flavor.
